About Mark

Mark is an experienced individual and family counsellor who specializes in working with Adults and Youth coping with social and emotional challenges, mental health and/or substance use concerns.  He takes a client-centred approach and believes the counselling relationship is a unique partnership that needs to build on the client’s intrinsic strengths.  This process leads clients to experience empowerment, build resilience and learn to take control of their own lives.

Mark has worked as a Therapist for the past 10 years both in his Private Practice and with Vancouver Coastal Health on various mental health and substance abuse teams.  He has his Masters in Social Work and is a Registered Social Worker with both the BC College of Social Workers and BC Association of Social Workers.
